Opportunity to work at an exciting Series A Tech Startup located in the heart of Manhattan, and with a group of smart and ambitious people who are passionate about disruptive technology.
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to act as liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams.  Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas.  You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers.  Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our company’s long-term business growth.

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and sales executives
  • Report to VP of Sales North America on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Your profile
  • Strong desire to work in technology (SaaS) sales
  • 0-2 years of sales experience with a background in technology products (SaaS) or marketing research a plus
  • Past achievement in the new business development / track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Demonstrated ability to book client meetings via outbound email communication
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with CRM platform (Salesforce preferred)
  • Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • 4-Year BA/BS degree is required
  • Availability to work from our office in midtown Manhattan
